September 2024

A Gathering of Change-Makers

At the heart of this summit was Radhakishan Gulwe, the humble yet inspiring host who has transformed his family’s farmland into a thriving example of successful organic farming. His formula is as simple as it is powerful: Kalki Bioculture and indigenous (desi) cow dung — nothing else. With just these inputs, he has cultivated a range of grains and fruits with consistently exceptional yields.

Meet the Farmer Leading the Way

The shift began a year ago when Sejal Patravali, the center head and a teacher of Sahaj Samadhi meditation for children, teens, and adults, attended a workshop led by Babita Bhatkande ji. This session introduced the center to Kalki, a natural bioculture solution designed for multiple applications—from hygiene and pest control to plant health and soil revitalization.

A Family Rooted in Nature

Radhakishan ji’s journey is a family affair. His wife is a fellow farmer, active in both agriculture and women’s empowerment in the region. Their children have also joined them full-time on the farm, making theirs a rare multigenerational farming model that balances tradition, innovation, and community service.

Timing That Told a Story

The timing of the summit was intentional. Just days before the harvest of jowar and bajra, the crops stood tall — quite literally. Their towering height and the abundance of grain mirrored the stories farmers had only heard from their forefathers. It was the perfect moment to bring others to the farm. As Radhakishan ji put it, “A farmer only believes what his eyes see” — and what they saw rekindled faith in natural farming. Watch what Gulwe ji had to say about his produce which inspired this gathering.

Learning Through the Land

The summit was more than a gathering — it was an immersive, on-ground learning experience. Attendees walked the fields, examined the thriving crops, and discussed techniques with fellow farmers. The land itself became the most compelling teacher, showing what’s possible with devotion to the soil and the right natural inputs.

Wisdom from Shri. Ajitkumar Parab

A key highlight was the presence of Ajit Kumar Varabh, the thought leader and guide behind the Kalki movement. He spent two full days engaging with the farmers — not through lectures, but through dialogue, listening, and real-time problem-solving. He emphasized that true farming must happen in synchronicity with nature, not in conflict with it.

A New Chapter in Indian Farming

The Kalki Organic Farmers Summit didn’t just leave farmers inspired — it left them empowered. Empowered with knowledge, belief, and a living example of what regenerative, chemical-free agriculture can look like. The results on Gulwe Patil Natural Farms speak louder than any promise.

Conclusion: Growing the Future

The story of Radhakishan Gulwe and his family is more than a success story. It is a blueprint — of how Indian agriculture can return to its roots, thrive without chemicals, and support entire communities in the process. At Audumbar Kalki, we are proud to walk alongside such changemakers, and we look forward to nurturing many more such journeys across the country.
